I would imagine (pardon the pun) that at this stage in the game, everyone’s heard of Imagine Ireland – a new initative by Culture Ireland to promote Irish culture and art in the USA specifically, as opposed to the world in general. A wise move considering that the US can provide a lot of work, and exposure for Irish artists who just can’t source that kind of work here.
Anyways, below is a nice (I’m going to stress the word nice here – it’s a little aren’t we all lovely Irish folksies) video created by Imagine Ireland to coincide with the launch, although it wasn’t released until this week. Pity that they couldn’t have put more of a stress on new and upcoming artists – it’s thems that need the exposure after all.
